Don’t be a freight transport dinosaur

Continuous and usually rapid change is the rule, not the exception, in our modern marketplace. This mirrors the rise of AI and its own continual transformation as it gets smarter and faster. We can see how it has already transformed the freight transport industry and how the non-utilisation of it is impacting companies that refuse to move with the times - most notably how they continue to go to the wall (sadly, B Taylor & Sons Transport is just one recent casualty).
Put very simply, transport operators MUST be able to adapt quickly to meet the challenges of today’s business landscape, especially because their own customers are doing exactly that and will be expecting their suppliers to keep up. As we persist in saying, there is no material reason why systems providers cannot give transport operators leading edge transport management systems (TMSs) that transform the offering that they provide to their customers, as AI and similar technologies can easily be applied to transport operations.
If they don’t wish to go the way of the freight transport dinosaurs, all extant operators need to embrace the integration of AI in order to deliver an improved service at a lower cost - with an associated reduced environmental footprint as a cherry on the top. To do so, transport operators should expect, no, DEMAND that their IT system providers give them the necessary tools to adapt to, and implement, change on the continuous and rapid basis discussed above. If you don't believe that there are TMSs available right now that can deliver such a modern solution, contact Bashir Khan here and he will demonstrate otherwise.
